nomadSpace/Wandering Gallery is a Slovak version of Truck-art, a mobile exhibition venue organized in a truck. It is a project of a group of artists bearing the same name. Truck-artists have been co-operating with variety of galleries and in their projects they present the works of acknowledged artists. They agreed that Space Gallery would involve this project in its long-term activities. It also has taken part in an existing network of galleries, where it is possible to present Slovak art in the world and simultaneously “to import” world art into Slovakia.

The aim of nomadSpace/Wandering Gallery is to present contemporary art via temporary “site specific” exhibitions. They take art out of a gallery and try to address wide spectrum of the public that otherwise would not visit them. Mobility and a nomad character are the key features of the project.

NomadSPACE is realised with financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak republic.
